Kalypso Media has announced that the politically-charged 'Lobbyistico' DLC for Tropico 6 is available today on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. #Tropico6 #Lobbyistico
The LobbyisticoDLC brings the European Union and big league politics to the fair isles of Tropico, introducing a range of new features to the game like the new "Corruption" gameplay mechanic, three new buildings, personality traits for your Presidente, new music tracks and extra customization options for your avatar and palace residence.
Corruption lies at the heart of the Lobbyistico DLC. Invite faction leaders as lobbyists into the El Presidente Club and conduct backroom politics to unlock a unique new set of perks to boost the economy and manipulate faction standings. However, with increased lobby work comes increased corruption, all of which will impact the wider Tropican economy and society. Fight the spread of corruption - or, let’s be honest, just try to cover everything up - using the new Corruption Agency. Enjoy two new traits, three music tracks and a fetching new set of customization items for El Prez and his palace.
Watch the new trailer and learn more about the new DLC below.
Lobbyistico DLC Features:
Corruption gameplay mechanic: Use lobby work to gain access to new perks to boost your economy while trying to balance the resulting corruption, which will ruin your island paradise with negative effects if left unchecked

Even more music: Viva la Corrupción, Fiesta en el Club, Bruselas está Bailando
4 additional customization options for El Prez and the palace

Since the release of firmware modifications for the Xbox 360 console which allow the booting of backup copies of games, the sale of modified versions of the console in Korea have reportedly taken off. The Premium Xbox 360 won't benefit from a price cut this Christmas - but instead a HD-DVD and console package is due, spearheading a marketing drive of console bundles available from November.
Retail sources have indicated to GamesIndustry.biz that Microsoft is currently planning to price the standalone HD-DVD drive at GBP 199 (~293EUR or ~370USD), and to package it with two HD-DVD movies. The sources also suggested that Microsoft will bundle the Premium console and next-generation movie player together for under GBP 400 (~589EUR, ~745USD) - and that the price could even be as low as GBP 375 (~552EUR, ~700USD).
It's expected an official Premium bundle will be made available in early November, with a newly released triple-A third-party title included.
The losses Microsoft incurred during the second quarter of the fiscal year had nothing to do with sales or lacking demand of their products in the entertainment division. Instead, the losses have stemmed from a rather unfashionable rise in Xbox 360 console replacements and repairs.
Any gamer who has been keeping track of the constant claim of 360's shutting down, burning up and crashing, you’d have to wonder how well that fairs for Microsoft’s profits. Well, it doesn’t fair well for their profits. That’s why they lost $289 million dollars in expenses for replacements and repairs for the Xbox 360.
