The latest update for Sea of Thieves is now live for all players on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Fort of the Damned encourages players to seek out this fearsome fortress and take on our most exciting Skeleton Fort challenge yet to earn huge rewards including a guaranteed Chest of Legends.
Let's take a look at what's new in the Sea Of Thieves October update!
The Fort of the Damned
Dark forces have seized Old Boot Fort, using ancient magic to bring forth an evil that transforms it into the Fort of the Damned, overrun with sinister Shadow of Fate Skeletons.
Pirates must undertake Voyages to find Ritual Skulls, claim the Flames of Fate then band together to take down the Fort. Sloops, Brigantines and Galleons: it's time for ships to raise their Alliance flags, work together and answer the call!
Fort of the Damned is the biggest update to Sea of Thieves' popular Skeleton Fort feature since launch, offering players action-packed new challenges and massive rewards. The new Fort can be activated on demand as long as the in-game requirements are met, allowing players to take on this new challenge as often as they want. It's a permanent new addition to the game that will remain available beyond October's update.
Skeleton Pets in the Pirate Emporium
The Pirate Emporium is stocking new items for the spooky season including some supernatural additions to the pet range: the Skeleton Cockatoo and Skeleton Marmoset. But hurry, skeleton pets will only be available for the duration of the Fort of the Damned update and will return to the mists once the November update is released. Grab them before they go!
Train Sim World 2020 welcomes its first split track with the Rhein-Ruhr Osten: Wuppertal - Hagen route add-on, including the S8 S-Bahn and the Main Line between the two stations.
The hustle and bustle of urban sprawl passenger operations and intermix of freight are yours to experience in Train Sim World: Rhein-Ruhr Osten. Take in the scenic backdrop of the North Rhine-Westphalia as you carry out passenger and freight duties whilst negotiating the busy Rhein-Ruhr route. Manage your trains through the route as it forges along two separate paths and deliver your cargo on-time. Whether you’re driving, riding along or watching the action, experience all the sights and sounds of German railways Take control of two very different German trains, the DB BR 422 EMU as they serve the many passenger stations, and the MRCE BR 185.5 on freight duty. Featuring an electric simulation underpinned with expert technical knowledge and real-world data, the performance and sounds make them feel just like the real thing.
The route diverges shortly after leaving Hagen, giving you the choice of carrying passengers along the bustling, riverside S8 S-Bahn for classic stopping-service operations or hauling freight along the urban Main Line. Home to automated services in addition to your train, the route merges again near Schwelm before continuing down to Wuppertal. As you journey along the Wupper river towards your destination, look north to watch the elevated Schwebebahn – a stunning suspended rail system that carries commuters over the water.
