An easy way to fix 0001/0002/0003 all this time many of you think that 0001/0002/0003 are hard to fix.and error 0001 are for sure its broken MOSFET, as for 0002/0003 not always MOSFET problem, some case its cold solder joint under the CPU that you can fix it with the hybrid fix,and loosen the screw at CPU area.
But you see that to remove each MOSFET to test and find the broken one really pain in the ass. now all your hard work to fix 0001/0002/0003 will be a lot easier with this tutorial that you don't have to remove each MOSFET to find out the broken one.
First you need to remove the 2 coil near the psu chord. (the small standing choke coils)
To remove it you will need strong iron solder that can hold up to ~350c or more than 70 watt.if you want to use hot-air/re-workstation its optional but not recommended as you can f*** up the little component around it.
And now you're ready to go to test every MOSFET to find the broken one.get your multimeter,the best way to test the MOSFET is to use the analog multimeter and set to ohm x1.
Test all the 3 leg (gate,drain,source) , if all pins of them are shorted, that's the broken one.replace that one, you can take off the MOSFET with hot-air just be careful,some said its easy to remove the MOSFET with iron solder, but for me i prefer with hotair.
once you've replaced all the broken the MOSFET, solder back the coils, all should be good again.
You can get the part from another dead board,also you can replace jasper MOSFET from falcon board, I've tried it and its work just fine.if you still have some problem/question post it here or join with us at chat room so we can discuss about this together.and don't forget to give us feedback with what you got after following this tutorial..
