Being a huge COD4 fan i know for a fact that one big feature that was wanted was the ability to duel wield pistols and the out cry for this has been answered by Infinity Ward, with that said lets get to the facts.
CVG reports: Everyone went a bit mental when Microsoft showed Master Chief picking up two weapons at once for the first time in Halo 2, while GoldenEye fans sniggered at the back.
Well now Infinity Ward has revealed that Modern Warfare 2 will also feature two-gun blasting - a first for the series.
IW community man Robert Bowling showed off wielding two Desert Eagle pistols - an ability being referred to as 'Akimbo' - during a single-player game at a recent GameCrazy show, much to the glee of attendees. But it won't cause balance issues, assures Bowling.
"Now to calm some initial fears of "OMG! Overpowered!" Akimbo is limited and balanced, just like EVERYTHING in the game," he explained.
"It's limited to sidearms, harder to aim than standard and you can't go ADS (aim down sights) since you have a weapon in each hand, among other balancing techniques, so don't freak out before you see it in action," he said
We're happy to finally announce that the issues being faced with the Halo 3 beta and Crackdown will be resolved shortly. The Microsoft team has found a solution and it's undergoing final testing now.
Assuming the test pass goes according to plan, the fix will come in the form of a Crackdown title update within the next three to six hours.
We understand many of you were eagerly awaiting your chance to jump into the Halo 3 Beta and this technical issue has put a damper on your plans. Thankfully the fix is incoming and we're sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Ultimately we hope this will all soon be a distant memory once you pick up the Spartan Laser, launch yourself from a Mancannon and enjoy online shenanigans with your friends.
As a reminder, people who already have the Halo 3 Beta are unaffected by this issue. We'll keep you posted as soon as we have more information.

A new .CON file signature homebrew application named "ConSign" has been released for the Xbox 360. It is useful for activities such as porting saved game content from PC to Xbox.
What is it?
The CON file tool updates signatures found in Xbox 360 user content files ("CON" file). CON is the format used for saved games and settings. The tool requires a valid keyvault file to work.
How it works:
In the keyvault of every Xbox 360 is a unique CON keypair that is used for signing CON files. The public key component of this keypair is signed by Microsoft to ensure that arbitrary keypairs cannot be used.
A copy of the public key and its signature is stored in each CON file. This allows Xbox 360 consoles to verify CON files that may be signed by other Xbox 360 consoles.Because the signing keys are per-box, individual consoles can have their keypair revoked in firmware updates.
For more information, see the source code included in the archive.
What can it do?
The tool is not very interesting from the perspective of running unsigned code or Linux. It would require an exploit that is unlikely given the architecture of the Xbox 360.It is useful for activities such as porting saved game content from PC to Xbox.
