Agent21KGB posted the first picture of the Xbox 360 error/crash screen on our forums.
A bit similar to the original Xbox error screen, it asks to contact the Xbox Customer Support and gives an 'Error Number' to help identify the problem:
"So I went to the local Wal-Mart and walk on the 360 display and was like well I'll see If I can get a better look at this deal since few people were in the place. I turned the corner and found the Contact Xbox support screen. The xbox was blinking red and claiming error 74."

35,000 polygon spectators gather to watch PGR3 as the developer attempts to get the next-gen console to spew smoke and flames
Bizarre Creations has been trying to break an Xbox 360 by standing 35,000 (yep, that's 35,000) polygon spectators on the corner of a Project Gotham Racing 3 track. A screenshot of this frankly bizarre experiment can be seen top-right of this page (feel free to count heads to see if the number's a lie) and the developer says in a recent update on its community website that the whole thing was actually a test "to show how crazy our crowd rendering system is".
So it wasn't trying to break an Xbox 360 really. Was it?
' A little birdie told us that TSMC is working hard to make ATI Xenos Xbox 360 chips and that the Taiwan-based manufacturing company has been producing these chips for months now '
Microsoft is storing the chips and its contractors ready to build hundreds of thousands of Xbox 360 consoles and it's certain that it won't be in short supply when it comes to the graphic part.
' It had been thought that HD-DVD would go on sale at the end of the year, but now it would appear that the format will be delayed until some time in 2006. '
"We originally aimed for the year-end launch in the United States, but we have not really decided on that," said a Toshiba spokesperson. "We are now in talks with Hollywood studios and large-scale retailers to see the most effective timing of the launch and the best way to launch."
' Mad Catz Interactive announced today financial results for the three-month period ended June 30, 2005. The company also revealed it has obtained a license to manufacture Xbox 360 accessories '
Darren Richardson, President and CEO of Mad Catz Interactive, stated: "These new products are expected to further diversify Mad Catz' revenue sources. However, in the near-term, we see a continuation of some of the slow market trends that we faced in the first quarter. In our historically strong fiscal third quarter, the Xbox 360 will be released. As an official Microsoft peripheral licensee for North America and Europe, we will produce a range of Mad Catz branded products that will be officially endorsed by Microsoft and carry the Xbox 360 license logo."
Reports from Japan say Microsoft's next-generation home console provides the tech for the House of the Dead 4 machine.
Recently, Sega staged a beta test in Tokyo for House of the Dead 4, the forthcoming light-gun shooter that uses the company's new "Lindbergh" arcade board. At the time, rumors began to circulate that the new board--which displays games in a 16:9 widescreen format--was based on the Xbox 360.
