So ya have been enjoying your gh3 and rock band and all of a sudden your guitar starts missing buttons and screwing up....Gives ya the shits huh...lol...Well here is a simple remedy that may fix your troubles.Read on......
Requirements
Gibson wireless guitar
Soldering iron
Electrical tape
Firstly pull the neck off your guitar.cut some thin strips to put on the side of your guitar neck where it slides into the base similar to this.
Ok now that will ensure a snug fit with no movement.Now to fix the connection...Look inside the neck and you will see the small chip board with the 8 small circular contact points similar to this....
Now simply apply a small dot of solder on those 8 points ENSURING THEY ARE THE SAME HEIGHT!!!This will make the pins contact without the need to push all the way in and eliminating all movement and sloppiness....
Try to push the neck in whilst the solder is still a bit soft to make an even better connection.
