Please Note:360-hq network is not at fault if you mess up your xbox 360 doing this, if you are a not a good person at soldering then we would suggest you try to find someone that is, so again we are not responsible for any damage u do to your xbox 360.
Credit Aweirdguy for finding these i just made the tut. Thanks Bud. Also other pics i came by ffrom other resources and there is ones below at the bottom that will show u how to connect cathlode lites up too.
Here is the power points on the Xbox 360, very useful if you need power for your mods.
You can get 12v, 5v, 3.3v, and ground from underneath where the dvd power harness plugs in:
You can access 5v and grounds underneath the usb ports:
Grounds and a 5v "unswitched" point can be found by the power supply plug. This 5v is on anytime the 360 is plugged in, and is not switched by the 360 power.
I found some 3.3v "unswitched" power on the rf/power board and the points going to it. This power is on anytime the 360 has the power plugged in.
For all the people that don't want to solder, I found which wires you can connect to for power and ground. Just attach to the right wires, and use electrical tape to make sure nothing shorts.
Ok Now installing a Cathode lite system:I am not going to get into full detail on this one will later in another tut but for now im showing ya were you can power it from and u can put the cathode anywere u want that it will fit.
This is the a pic of the were u plug your power brick into the xbox 360 motherboard but upside down.
This next one shows you were to solder the 2 wires u need the 12v one is the positive if u didnt know and the other is ground.
This is a pic of the wires soldered together and now you are done and u can put the lights any where if u have enough wire if not u should made sure u did before ha.
