Introduction
This tutorial will show you how to recovery a bricked Lite-on drive. This happens sometimes after using the Erase Lite-on command on JungleFlasher. If your PC freezes until you disconnect the drive or the drive no longer ejects, don't panic you can save it.
360-Hq.Com and it's staff DO NOT and WILL NOT take responsibility for users who damage their own equipment in any way, shape or form.
1. Things You Need:
1.1. A LiteOn bricked drive
1.2. A USB pendrive
1.3. Lite-on Unbrick USB image (VIP Members can download via the 360-HQ.COM VIP FTP server)
1.4. A target firmware (can be stock or iXtreme LT+)
2. Recovery
2.1- After downloading the Lite-on Unbrick USB image, extrack all files to your empty USB pendrive (FAT32) (In windows make sure you have "show hidden files" turned on)
2.2- Also add your target firmware to root of your USB drive (and remeber the file name)
2.3- Reboot your computor and boot from the USB drive with your connectivity kit power off
2.4- Once booted from USB, turn on the drive and write the following: l-o-eras.exe (port number here)
If you dont the port number you can either see it on Jungleflasher or power drive and type:
dosflash.exe
It should start listing port numbers and talk about devices attached to it one of them is your DVD drive
Now you will be returned with a status code of FF80.
2.5- We don't want status FF80 so resend the command again.
l-o-eras.exe (port number here)
This time you will be returned with a status code of FF72. That is good and what we want. Your drive is now ready to be flashed
(If you cannot get FF72 power cycle the drive and try again.)
6- Power OFF your dvd drive using the connectivity kit. Now type this:
Dosflash
Now it is going to list all of your drives and the mtk flash at the end asking if you would like to resend.
7- Type in y for yes and power on your drive. It is going to ask you what drive you would like to effect. It could be any number. Look back up at your list it will be the one with your port number that you should know. If you are confused with this step, unplug all drives of your computer expect the Lite-on.
8- Now type:
Liteon E
9- After that type:
W
It's going to ask you the name of your firmware so type it
(For example: "lite_cfw.bin")
You are done! Power off PC, put Lite-On back to your XBOX 360, it should work now!
