Introduction
This tutorial will show you how to utilize your own PC at home to play System Link Xbox 360 Games over the internet using your JTAG Xbox 360 and an application called "XBSlink". XBSlink is a new application for your PC which allows you to play system-link multi-player enabled Xbox 360 Games over the internet for FREE.
What You Need
- XBSlink Software (download here)
- JTAGGED Xbox 360 ( not a retail 360 )
- Dash Launch plug-in ( it removes the 30ms default ping limit )
- Microsoft .NET Framework (download here)
- Router, Hub or Switch ( so your xbox 360 and pc can be connected )
Please note:
The XBSLink application requires the Microsoft.NET framework. You can download this for free here.
2. Connect your Xbox 360 and pc to your router, hub or switch.
3. Now, simply run XBSlink on a computer connected to the same network as your Xbox360
4. Using XBSlink on your PC connect to another XBSlink user on the Internet and play your favorite Game over the SystemLink feature just as if the game consoles where on the same network.
XBSLink Features:
play any XBox360 System Link enabled Game over your Internet Connection
automatic UPnP NAT port forwarding (if supported by your router)
support for STUN server protocol to detect the NAT type of your network.
optional advanced forwarding of broadcast (this helps with some games and might even enable platforms other then the Xbox360)
option to always forward packets from a list of manually entered network devices.
internal chat to communicate with connected XBSlink nodes
Cloud list – join a cloud of other XBSlink usersRequirements:
Windows XP/Vista/7 (32bit & 64bit compatible)
.Net 2.0
WinPCap Packet Capture Library (see http://www.winpcap.org) Comes bundled with the installer!
