Skater XL's Fermenter Plaza Map Is Out Now on Xbox One,..

Skater XL continues to evolve the skateboarding genre with the delivery of a new player created map, Fermenter Plaza, and over 100 pieces of new gear including decks, wheels and accessories. The new map and gear are now available to all players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam through Skater XL’s in-game Mod Browser.

Fermenter Plaza is the latest optimized map to drop in the Mod Browser and is certified shred ready! Created by mod map creator @FermenterGames, this plaza is a sprawling outdoor environment, built to make your skateboarding daydreams come true.

Utilizing tile, marble, and granite textures throughout, this map delivers a unique aesthetic and diverse terrain including big rails, technical ledge sections, transitions, unique sculptural elements and skatable rooftops that will have you finding new lines with each new session.

As part of the optimization process, Easy Day worked with the original creator to update lighting, textures, and small layout adjustments, along with reworking many technical aspects of the map so that it loads quickly, fits within system memory and plays smoothly on all platforms.

SKATE SHOP DAY CELEBRATION

This month also marks the 2nd annual ‘Skate Shop Day’ on February 19, an initiative focused on driving business to local skate shops where the skateboard community celebrates this cultural hub and foundation of every skateboard scene.
