“Halo” fans, make ready your battle rifles and prepare to step into an expanded fight on Xbox LIVE. Mythic 2 Map Pack, a Game Add-on developed by Bungie for “Halo 3” consisting of three multiplayer maps available previously only on the “Halo 3: ODST” multiplayer disc, is set to arrive on Xbox LIVE on Feb. 2, 2010.
The release of the Mythic 2 Map Pack brings the total number of “Halo 3” multiplayer maps to 24. The Game Add-on includes three action-packed maps: Heretic, Citadel and Longshore.
Heretic brings players to familiar ground as the “Halo 2” arena Midship returns in “Halo 3.” The stark interior of the Pious Inquisitor might appear austere on first glance, but Heretic’s symmetrical spaces require players to execute complex strategies in order to outplay their opponents.
Citadel may be a long abandoned Forerunner stronghold, but its small, symmetrical confines are far from secure. Two opposing bases offer little safety for players looking for solace. Instead, Citadel forces small squads to stay in constant communication, keep their heads on a swivel, and be prepared to adjust combat tactics in close quarters.
Longshore lacks the commercial ships that once made it a lucrative port for Old Mombasa, but it still bustles with activity. Designed for large-scale combat and well-suited for smaller affairs, Longshore’s multitude of industrial buildings, elevated walks, and open inlets conspire to create a complex battleground tailored for multiple combat scenarios.
Mythic 2 Map Pack will be available on Xbox LIVE for 800 Microsoft Points. Mythic Map Pack 1 and 2 are also included in “Halo 3: ODST,” which includes the complete “Halo 3” multiplayer map collection, an all-new campaign and the incredibly popular cooperative experience, Firefight. “Halo 3: ODST” will act as a key to the upcoming “Halo: Reach” multiplayer beta which goes live later this spring.

Team XeDev recently released a new version of XBLA Unlocker which was previously released by dstruktiv.
The additional "Collection Management" is contributed by node21.
What's new/fixed (v0.3):
* Changed source of data so now we have released date, rating (0 thru 20), and number of ratings
* The "B" button will change what you are sorting on (title, release date, rating, number of ratings)
* MAKE SURE that you delete your old xbla_titles.csv on the root of your USB drive if you have one there
* New script to recreate the database is included, but it take *MUCH* *MUCH* longer to run if you need to run it (you should only need it once a week or so when new titles are released, if you care to be that up-to-date)

I was able to find just a bit more info on my Microsoft Gets Modern Warfare 2 Content First post from Monday, January 11, 2010, while there is still no real date for it we do get an idea of how long the 360 fans will get to work there skills before the rest of the world.
Eurogamer.net reports: Microsoft has revealed just how much of a head start Xbox 360 owners will have with the new down loadable content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
"We have a 30-day timed exclusive on the Modern Warfare content packs," a spokesperson told Eurogamer. "So it will be available on other platforms, but you get to try and play on Xbox 360 first."
The exclusivity deal was first announced at E3 last year. Back then John Schappert said it covered the first two map packs for Mod War 2.
The DLC is due to be released this spring but an exact date has yet to be locked down.
Team XeDev have been busy this week, this time releasing a new version of NXE2GOD. For those who don't know, NXE2GOD is an application that converts NXE installed games to the Games on Demand area on homebrew 360's.
Copy your game(s) to your hard drive using NXE -] Run NXE2GOD -] All games
ripped using NXE will now be Games on Demand packages and not need the disc.
What's new/fixed:
* Fixed issue where if you had more than one game with the same titleid, then converting the games would result in all games using that titleid being deleted except for one.
* Now have 100% compatibility with ALL games.
* Improved interactive interface with useful output.
Microsoft has recently been discussing the issues of bringing out a new console and bringing 3D into action. Unfortunately for us they have decided to put these features on hold while Sony is well under way of making this happen.
The Xbox product manager, Aaron Greenberg, was at CES when he said: “We’re unsure what level of interest there is from consumers to really want a 3D experience in the living room. Many, many years from now when it becomes a reality, we absolutely can support it.” and “there’s a lot of challenges about 3D in the living room. I don’t know about you, but when I play games or watch TV, I’ve got my phone, I’ve got all kinds of things going on. I get up, I get down, I’m looking outside at the weather and it’s…I’m not in a dark theater, wearing glasses, staring at a screen. I think it’s just a different environment.”
Where as Howard Stringer, the CEO and President of Sony Sony said: “We intend to take the lead in 3D. We are the only company fully immersed in every part of the 3D value chain”.
As well as 3D being discussed at CES, so was the upcoming of the new Xbox console. Not only have they put a hold on 3D gaming but they are also putting a hold on the next upcoming console. David Hufford, senior director of Xbox product management said “There is no need to launch a new console, because we’re able to give this console new life either with software upgrades or hardware upgrades like Project Natal. The Xbox 360 was designed for a long life, and I don’t even know if we’re at the midpoint yet.”
It is believed that Microsoft has made this decision by looking at what other companies are doing and then decided based on these observations. Although they have decided to put these features on hold, they feel pretty confident as Nintendo are still half a generation behind with their hardware and a full generation behind with their online offerings while Sony are battered and bruised by losses, especially from their PlayStation division.
