It has been announced that X06 will be held at Barcelona, Spain this year.
X06 is a convention held every year by Microsoft, where everything is Xbox. Over the years it has been home to breaking news like the acquisition of Rare studious, unveiling of the New Xbox, and the Xbox 360's Launch lineup- so expect to see good things come from it this year (Can we hope for a little Halo 3?)
This year’s event, according to MS, those who will be attending "should expect to be blown away with exclusive news announcements and amazing next generation gaming experiences."
It will be held September 27th and 28th, so not to far off from the Tokyo Game Convention.
Now we just have to wait and see until then if Microsoft drops the Bomb.
As you may know today was supposed to be the release date for one of the most anticipated demos to hit the Live Marketplace. The testing has ran into a snag though and it will have to be delayed slightly, here is what the President of 3DRealms had to say on the issue.
Here's a quick message from our forums, posted by 3DR president George Broussard about availability of the Prey 360 Demo.
We do not want 360 people waiting up for the demo or having false expectations. The 360 demo will not appear on Marketplace tonight.
I'm still waiting for specifcs, but I'm being told that it's still in testing at Microsoft. From what I understand this isn't Microsoft's fault, and is more likely just an issue of timing.
I'm hesitant to give any estimates for a release, but I've been told it should be reasonably soon after the PC release, but could be as long as a few days.
We will post an update as soon as we have more solid information.
As you see it seems to be a testing issue, and should only take as long as a few days to release, from what the Live Team has said before, "No updates or demos will be released on Friday", we can expect that the demo will come out sometime next week. Those waiting for the PC demo can go to the official site to download it and check out this game.
Namco-Bandai has announced a new RPG for the Xbox 360 entitled Trusty Bell through Famitsu Weekly in Japan, The game has been known about for quite sometime but was not announced for a platform untill today.
Trusty Bell uses cell shading technology that bears a resembelnece to Level 5's Cancelled True Fantasy Live Online.
Looks like thats one more Exclusive RPG under Mircosofts belt, which may help the console in Japan as it struggles to maintain an positive image even through Microsoft's heavy advertisement campaign.
Trusty Bell has not be announced for release in another other Market but Japan

Achievements are an addiction. I didn't understand what the big deal was before purchasing an Xbox 360, and didn't understand I cared about them until I was finishing games a second time (which I never do) in order to unlock certain objectives. Who cares if my gamerscore is higher? Apparently I do.
Xbox 360 releases have been slow this summer, but shooter fans can look forward to the long-in-development-but-not-as-long-as-Duke-Nukem-Forever game from 3D Realms and Human Head Studios, Prey. Before the demo appears on Xbox Live this week, you can scope out the achievements you'll be chasing after in a few weeks.
