What do you do when one of your favorite past times is fishing and you can't make it to the water? Well a new "Xbox 360 Fishing Rod Controller" is coming in a new game called "The Strike" and it looks to be just the thing for all those fisherman out there.

Here with some good news for players like me is the report from GamerZines that there will be no vehicles in the online play, this is by far some of the best news i have seen on COD MW2 since the news hit about the expanded Kill streak Reward.
GamerZines reported: Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has confirmed that vehicles will not feature in Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer component.
Speaking in a recent interview with GamerZines, Bowling stated:
"We never put vehicles in multiplayer.

"We do have expanded Killstreak Rewards now, some of which are user-controlled. For example, where you previously could call in UAV, Airstrikes, and Helicopter Support but had no control on how helpful they were, there are many more options which allow you to take control of the gunner or control its success a bit more for a limited time. Such as the AC130 gunship where you can fire any of the three weapons on it during its limited time in the air."
Treyarch implemented drivable tanks into last year's Call of Duty: World at War, something many players disagreed with, citing that it caused problems with the game's balancing.
The AC130 Gunship was revealed in the first multiplayer video for Modern Warfare 2 released a few weeks back, which also revealed the customisable killstreak feature that Infinity Ward is introducing to the series. As of right now, you are able to download 2-3 hours of new game play for Mass Effect for the rock bottom price of 400 MS points.
Taking place on a top-secret Alliance space station , it features a number of arena-style battle exercises.

And as I recommend with any DLC, do some research on the net for some reviews before purchasing. And last but not least, if you happen to be a PC player of this game, the DLC is $5 and includes a crap load of Patches for problems the game has been having on the PC version.

Being a huge COD4 fan i know for a fact that one big feature that was wanted was the ability to duel wield pistols and the out cry for this has been answered by Infinity Ward, with that said lets get to the facts.
CVG reports: Everyone went a bit mental when Microsoft showed Master Chief picking up two weapons at once for the first time in Halo 2, while GoldenEye fans sniggered at the back.
Well now Infinity Ward has revealed that Modern Warfare 2 will also feature two-gun blasting - a first for the series.
IW community man Robert Bowling showed off wielding two Desert Eagle pistols - an ability being referred to as 'Akimbo' - during a single-player game at a recent GameCrazy show, much to the glee of attendees. But it won't cause balance issues, assures Bowling.
"Now to calm some initial fears of "OMG! Overpowered!" Akimbo is limited and balanced, just like EVERYTHING in the game," he explained.
"It's limited to sidearms, harder to aim than standard and you can't go ADS (aim down sights) since you have a weapon in each hand, among other balancing techniques, so don't freak out before you see it in action," he said
I must say i love a good study on anything game related and thats just what we got right here, it might just be me but it would seem that after all the time and effort put in to this study that no one has made a single point that shows there is a link.
A study conducted by researchers at the University of Adelaide has linked regular video game play to gambling addiction.
Australia's ABC News reports on comments by Paul Delfabbro of the University's school of psychology. Delfabbro's team studied more than 2,500 Australian teens and found that more than half admitted to gambling within the preceding 12 months. Delfabbro commented on his findings:
" If you look at those young people who are classified as pathological gamblers you will find that they do have a higher frequency of involvement with many different types of videogame. They're much more likely to play games on Xboxes and similar consoles. They are also more likely to play arcade games...
Some young people who don't have a lot of structured activities in their life... what they'll often do is spend very large amounts of time playing videogames or often be more likely to be the ones who go off to street venues to play arcade games.
Those sort of young people who've had this need for more sort of unstructured activities probably also drift into gambling a bit more because it's another activity which you can do if you're out on the street."
However, University of Sydney psychology professor Alex Blaszczynski said that the evidence gathered by Delfabbro does not support a causal link between video game play and compulsive gambling:
"Does an interest in gambling lead to people becoming involved in video games or do video games lead to people becoming involved in gambling? Or is there a third factor which accounts for both gambling and videogames?
There’s also the possibility that some people with certain characteristics would then tend to engage in both video and technology type gaming activity and gambling as well. And that may well be linked to things like risk taking or impulsivity or other factors."
The University of Adelaide research will appear in next month's Journal of Gambling Studies.
So in the long run i must say as a whole this study was a FAIL!
