DigitizdSoldier from www.360-hq.com has recently posted up a video of his latest project which i dubbed "The Ultimate Xbox 360 Mod". It is a must see for any xbox 360 owner and I believe one of the most unqiue mods for the xbox 360 I've seen to this day.

I had an idea for a mod and i don't think anybody has tried it yet. What i want to is hook up the HDD LED's to my Pulse VU 2X inside my console. I know theres an issue with the wires that would have to run into the console for the connection to the chip and also 5v standby power, so i came up with a simple solution of adding a small plug probably like the ones that connect the rumble motors to the controller(i have several broken ones). also it would need to be recessed into the HDD so that it does not push the HDD up when it is attached to the console so id have to make a custom mount for it in the HDD. this would allow me to plug it into the console and still have the ability to remove the HDD. Just wanted some input on this to see if it was worth the trouble. might try it tonight to see if it would even be possible.
