Capcom today announced that the official demo of the highly anticipated Resident Evil 6, is now available to download from Xbox LIVE for gamers who already purchased Dragon's Dogma. A public demo should be available shortly.
Set in 2013, 10 years after the Raccoon City incident, the world faces the horror of a global scale bioterrorism attack. Immersive gameplay experience, horror, excitement, deep emotion and dense storyline, set in an epic scale. More horror, more realistic and more drama. The best horror entertainment experience ever. Check out the official story trailer.
Resident Evil 6 is current set for release October 2nd, 2012 in North America. Will you be picking up RE6 when it hits? If you are, don't forget to add the game to your wishlist.
The entire list of achievements for Xbox 360 title Resident Evil 4 HD have been leaked. There are 12 achievements worth a total of 1000 points.
Similar to the Achievements for Code Veronica X HD, the Achievements for Resident Evil 4 HD mostly revolve around the story's progression. Achievements can be unlocked only after you acquire all bottle caps and costumes, respectively.
Apart from one achievement requiring gamers acquire the entire wardrobe of alternative costumes (by completing both the main game and extra Ada Wong-centric mode Separate Ways), gamers should be able to unlock the rest of the list by playing through natural story progression.
Unfortunately, there are no rewards for playing the game's Mercenaries mode, for helping the stray dog or getting Ashley to call you a pervert.
"Resident Evil 4 HD" will be released as a downloadable Xbox LIVE and PSN game to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the Resident Evil series this Fall 2011 (Q3). It will "have all the bonus content from the previous RE4 releases, including the Separate Ways epilogue.

Capcom does a smart thing with this survey, they ask the consumer how they want their new content. Nothing better than asking the buyer of the product.
Back at TGS it was revealed that Capcom would be giving Resident Evil 5 the director's cut treatment. While it's been decided that the game will be arriving in Japan on a physical disc, Capcom is leaving the format decision up to North American and European fans -- DLC or retail? The new content will support Sony's magic wand - PS3 Motion Controller. Never fear, Xboxers, as Takeuchi-san told Kramer in a meeting that the team is "evaluating what they can do for 360 players as well."
"Since you will ultimately be the people buying and playing this new content, we've decided that you should be the ones telling us how to make it available," said Chris Kramer on his Capcom-Unity blog. The blog post also sported a nifty poll allowing Capcom-Unity members to vote for either "a new box and a physical disc," or the ability to "download the new content digitally as soon as it's ready!"
The poll will run for a few weeks, until Capcom has a good idea about what the community wants. Kramer adds, "the demand for DLC in the west is huge. More and more, gamers in North America and Europe want content immediately and are less inclined to be tied to boxes and packages."
