Koolance cooling system for the 360Published by loki77 on Monday, June 26, 2006
Everyone knows how important it is to keep your CPU running a low temperature, doing this can mean the difference of a working system or a hardware failure, so when all of these home mods for liquid cooling systems for Xbox 360's began popping up like wildfire one company knew what they had to do.
Koolance has developed a liquid cooling system for the Xbox 360 in silver or black and the complete kit includes the Extos-LT cooling system as well as CPU and GPU cooling blocks, an AC power adapter and mounting harder specially designed for the XBox.
Although the modification isn’t anything to hard Koolance insists that only the l337 perform this task, as one small screw up could mean "bye, bye 360", and since you already opened your console and voided your warranty you'll have to pony up another $400(or $300 if you just want a core, or just to swap out the Hard Drive from your dead 360)
Additionally, Koolance provides no "proprietary instructions" for the XBox modifications, nor how to attach the cooling components. In order for Koolance's warranty to be valid, their own special liquid coolant must be used - and incidentally, Koolance's warranty does not extend to the XBox.
So at $394 sale price, almost the amount you paid for your system, you can own one today!

Loki
