Microsoft's Xbox SmartGlass will deliver new ways to enjoy entertainment while at home or on the go.
To kick-start the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Microsoft Corp. today unveiled a bold new vision for enjoying entertainment at home and on the go with Xbox SmartGlass. Launching this year, Xbox SmartGlass is an application for Windows 8, Windows Phone, and other portable devices that connects phones, PCs and tablets with your Xbox 360 console to make your entertainment smarter, more interactive and more fun.1 The intelligence of Xbox SmartGlass makes your entertainment more engaging, Web surfing more effortless, and playing games more immersive by delivering companion content and control to enhance your TV experience.
SmartGlass Features
Will allow users to control their Xbox 360 remotely. Will be available cross platform on multiple operating systems including Windows, Windows Phone, Android and iOS.
Applications will be accessible through the tablet. Such as Youtube/Netflix/Vemo ect.
Live streaming ability through the tablet to the TV, desktop, lap top and other devices.

Two years after the launch of Kinect for Xbox 360, Microsoft unveiled the next step in its journey to make Xbox synonymous with entertainment by unveiling Xbox SmartGlass, Internet Explorer for Xbox, and new TV, movie and music offerings.
LucasArts has announced Star Wars: 1313, a new internally developed third person cinematic action adventure game, will make its debut at E3 2012.
As players take control of a lethal bounty hunter in a never-before-seen dark and mature world, Star Wars 1313 introduces an integrated development approach by bringing together great artists across the Lucasfilm organization, including LucasArts, Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation Ltd. and Skywalker Sound.
Named for Level 1313, a ruthless criminal underground deep below the surface of the planet of Coruscant, the game puts players in control of a deadly bounty hunter as he uses an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down his marks and uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy. Star Wars 1313 emphasizes epic set pieces and fast-paced combat with a hero who uses human skills and gadgets, rather than supernatural Force powers, to make his way through this dangerous world.
Techland and Ubisoft have released Mad Riders, an adrenaline-fueled off-road arcade racing game, via the Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 MSP ($10).

Bethesda Softworks has announced that they are now accepting Xbox 360 beta applications for Dawnguard, the first expansion to the award-winning role-playing game Skyrim. Successful beta applicants will be the first to try out Skyrim's Dawnguard DLC.
Interested gamers can apply for the beta period at the official Dawnguard website. Applicants must have a registered account on the game's official forums, and Bethesda said users will want to make sure their forum email addresses are up to date.
The developer said it will begin selecting applicants in "about a week." Those who are chosen will receive an Xbox Live code to redeem the full Dawnguard expansion prior to its launch this summer free of charge.
No mention was made concerning whether or not a similar beta period will be held for the PlayStation 3 and PC, and a Bethesda representative told GameSpot, "Dawnguard is only announced for [Xbox 360] so that's the only platform we are talking about now."

EA and DICE have announced that the next Battlefield 3 update goes live June 4-5 on all 3 platforms. The full June update change list is featured below.
You will be prompted there is an update available. If you accept it, it will download. If you do not accept it at this time, you can find it manually in the in-game store or on Xbox Live Marketplace, named Multiplayer Update 3. If you do not locate it manually this way, you will be prompted again the next time you start the game.
The schedule for this update is:

PlayStation 3 in Japan/Asia: June 5th
PlayStation 3 in all other regions: June 4th

Vehicle related changes
Tweaked the F35 handling to more closely resemble that of the SU35 (see above).
Jet & helicopter ECM Jammer should now deflect missiles more reliably when it is active.
Fixed an issue where vehicles wouldn’t spawn if their intended space was occupied by a deployable gadget. The vehicle will now spawn as intended and the gadget will be destroyed in the process.
Fixed AA missiles not doing damage to vehicles moving at very high speeds.
Reduced the direct damage from unguided Javelins to require better side hits for a 1 hit disable. This was previously too forgiving and easy to accomplish.
Removed the direct damage from aircraft launched guided missiles. Players will need to have laser designated targets for full effectiveness.
Adjusted the helicopter rockets to their original prepatch damage value against armored vehicles. This is a reduction; a revert of a knock on effect that was introduced accidentally.
Fixed the US Tank Guided Shell doing the reverse damage values when guided and unguided.
Adjusted the M224 mortar damage against vehicles. Some tweaks and adjustments in a previous update accidentally increased its effectiveness greater than intended.
Increased the range on the AA guns so they can reach vehicles hovering at the maximum height in select maps.
Replaced the VDV buggy on Gulf of Oman (Back to Karkand) with the DPV buggy for both teams at the City flag.
Fixed a bug where some vehicle unlocks were still enabled after the player left the vehicle.
Bethesda Softworks today launched the official trailer for Dawnguard, the first game add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the fifth installment in the Elder Scrolls series.
Dawnguard is the first official add-on for the fifth installment in the Elder Scrolls series, Skyrim. Dawnguard adds two major faction into The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Dawnguard, a group of Vampire hunters dedicated to eradicating Vampires, and a faction of Vampires who seek to obtain an Elder Scroll for their own ends.
