Guantlet is a Classic 1985 Multiplayer remake which has been reproduced to be used on your XBOX 360 in conjunction with the new XBOX LIVE ARCADE..
The New Xbox 360 version of Gauntlet has Unlockable Achievements and of course the XBOX LIVE online scoreboard. It also supports HDTV.. (whoo hoo)..
 Way back in 1985, ATARI shocked arcade gamers with the release of Gauntlet. As soon as it was release it quickly rose to become one of the first cooperative four-player games that really held its own. Gauntlet then progressively made its way to just about each and every console on the market.
Personally, my own memories go back to hanging about the old arcade with all the guys popping our shiny coins into the slots of guantlet.. Credit after credit.. (I do remember the commodore 64 and amiga versions of the game but cant think of any other platforms that may have had it..?)
Well same goes for your xbox 360.. Except once you purchase the full xbox live game you will be able to play with up to 4 plays in full co-operative mode without the need of coinage.. lol
Overall this game is brought back to life 110% percent.. The online capabilities just make it like new again.. You want to play the game to gain your gamerpoints and also re-live the old days..
For those of you who may not remember this classic its still worth a go if you ask me..
Gameplay always makes the game and for a couple of dollars its great value.. :)
I give guantlet a 6/10 overall up again all the 360 titles.. But that 6/10 is pretty dam good since the game was originally made in 1985 including all the graphics, sound and ideas..
