Kinect Hands on In covent garden london Published on 08-25-2010
" i personally havent had a chance to get down there but my friend has and hes had hands on time with kinect, hes said its shockingly responsive and accurate and he says he enjoyed playing that ball game demoed at e3 he could use just his head in a nodding motion to hit the balls. There was also talk of for different games they could have different actions for example shotgun pump to reload or tap your chest for a heal i think he also said that these might be customizlable, this is in my blog as its from my friend but hes usually a good judge of things. | hey bom,
thats exactly what i wanted to know.. It sounds like its going to be so responsive that it will be unbelievable.. I really hope they plan to make some first person shooter games with a rifle or something.. that would be so fricken sweet.
ah, and yes ultrapro, i see that your waiting on similar things.. If they can do it on the Wii with cabela big game hunter 2010 i have no doubt it will come to KINECT..

| sounds pretty freakin awesome! I must admit I've had my reservations about the application of Kinect to certain genres such as FPS, RPG etc... how does the kinect recognise someone firing a gun? Can it really trace a trigger finger movement? and without anything in your hand how accurate would it be?? still, can't wait to see how well it works
