I noticed that on my wireless controllers (unmodded) there is a slight glow about them when they are turned off. I think it's just a slight trickle from the battery.
For those wondering why I would even look at such a thing in the dark, my power was out last night, and I was weeping in the dark b/c the 360 wouldn't come on. _________________

very very nice job... Good stuff.
Any chance you could write a small tutorial on how you dismantled the controller for painting etc..
It looks like you already have some nice pics to help.??

well i have 2 unmodded wireless and only 1 glows in the dark.....
now i belive this is done due to the batery pak... so this is what i did to determine ....
first it was dark and i saw somthing glowing hmm. then i saw the circle ring glowing.... then i looked @ 2nd 1 and im like this one isnt.....
then right away i thought : well 1 of these has reg bateries and the other has a battery pak.....
so i took off the battery pak and swaped both of them ... and then the other controller started to glow and the first one stoped glowing after i put hte batteries .....
so what i'm saying is that its normal and it glows only when u put the play and charge kit battery pak..... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Mine glow as well. I figured it was some way to slowly dissipate the charge on the controller incase you let them sit around for a while. This way it doesn't cause a "memory effect" or something of that nature.
same as SJOHN's trickle post _________________ XBOX v1.6
