Only 2000 Limited Editions will be produced for Nintendo Switch and 1000 for PlayStation 5, priced at US$39.99 plus shipping to include the game, manual, soundtrack CD and numbered certificate in a collector’s box. In this original coming-of-age RPG, step into the life of Nini, a newly earthbound teen who arrives in the quaint Japanese town of Ashihara in August 1983. Explore the town, befriend its people, and face off against the Kegai in turn-based battles where the outcomes depend on the relationships you’ve built and the decisions you’ve made. Use Nini’s special connection to the gods to reset the world, with each loop allowing Nini and his allies to relive the 8th month over and over until they get it right…or the Kegai overcome them entirely.
In the new video, the publisher walks viewers through interactions with some of the residents of Ashihara, and how those relationships factor into both the narrative and gameplay, culminating in a battle against one of the monstrous Kegai that threatens the countryside town.
Loop8: Summer of Gods will release on June 6, 2023 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam.
The title will be available digitally in both standard and deluxe editions on PC, priced at $49.99 and $59.99 respectively. Physical versions will also be available for consoles at launch, with a standard edition available for a MSRP of $49.99 and a limited Celestial Edition available through the XSEED Game Store and participating retailers for $69.99. Publisher Microids and Olydri Games confirmed that Noob: The Factionless will be available digitally on June 29th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. The retail edition will be available by the end of August 2023 for consoles.
