Layers of Fear 2 (@LayersOfFear2), the follow up to the psychological horror title Layers of Fear, is now available for digital download on Xbox One.
In Layers of Fear 2, players control a Hollywood actor who heeds the call of an enigmatic director to take on the lead role in a film shot aboard an ocean liner. Beware, for all may not truly be what it seems.
The cameras are all focused on you; the center of the scene. Not just in character, you are the character. The part to play is singularly yours. Written just for you.You are met with silence. No barking orders from the director. No call to action that you need to become this version of yourself. The demand to act fills your mind, but the script pages hold no words.
Your past has helped to mold you into what you are, forced upon you the skills required to hone your craft. That same past has scraped deep furrowing scars into you, not on the outside where the world can see, but in a place buried so deep within that it has become shapeless.
What part will you play?
Developed by Bloober Team and published by Gun Media, "Layers of Fear 2" is available on Xbox One for $29.99.

Codemasters and Koch Media have announced that F1 2019will ship a full two months earlier into the F1 season and launch worldwide on Friday 28th June 2019 during the Austrian Grand Prix weekend.
F1 2019 has been in development for nearly two years, making it the most ambitious release in franchise history and launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC (DVD and via Steam).
Working in partnership with F1, for the first time ever, players will be able to get behind the wheel of a 2019 regulation car specifically designed in collaboration with F1's technical team, headed up by Ross Brawn and Pat Symonds. The car, which will be available in Multiplayer, adheres to the 2019 regulations and comes with a range of livery designs offering players a new level of personalisation. The 2019 F1 Team liveries will also feature on the car in early marketing materials, but will be replaced by the final Team cars ahead of the games release.
Having established itself as one of the highest rated racing franchises of all time, F1 2019 will build on the success of previous iterations and deliver an experience that rivals the quality and production values of its real-life race counterpart and includes several new game features which will be revealed in the coming months. To whet the appetite Codemasters has today released the F1 2019 Teaser Trailer, which showcases some of the game's brand new look and feel.
"We are absolutely delighted to be able to release F1 2019 earlier in the Formula 1 Season, so that the game can be played and enjoyed at the same time that the real-world championship picture is starting to form," said Paul Jeal, F1 Franchise Director at Codemasters. "Our close relationship with Formula 1 has played a major part in achieving this key objective for the franchise. That in addition to our near two-year development cycle, has allowed us to develop some exciting new features and other firsts for the franchise that we can't wait to share with our community in the coming months."
Kareem Choudhry, Corporate Vice President - Gaming Cloud, Microsoft provides an update regarding Project xCloud.
Last fall, we pulled back the curtain on Project xCloud - our game-streaming technology. Our vision for Xbox is that you can play the games you want, with the people you want, on the devices you want. Project xCloud brings us closer to fully realizing that vision. Our teams around the globe have been hard at work, building out and testing the system. We recently rolled out an alpha version to Microsoft employees through our take home program and are using the feedback to make improvements, ensuring Project xCloud offers customers a great experience.
The driving purpose behind Project xCloud has been to enable playing great games anywhere, anytime. From the beginning, our aim has been seamless compatibility. We want to make it as easy as possible for developers to make their games available to all gamers with support for existing games, those currently in development, and future games.
The power of Project xCloud - the seamless compatibility for developers and the new places to play for gamers - comes from Azure datacenters spanning the globe, with hardware that shares a common set of components with our Xbox consoles. We've already deployed our custom Project xCloud blades to datacenters across 13 Azure regions with an initial emphasis on proximity to key game development centers in North America, Asia and Europe. Leading global development teams such as Capcom and Paradox Interactive now have the ability to easily test their games directly from Project xCloud without having to port to a new platform. This is just the beginning of our buildout, with our ultimate goal of supporting gamers in Azure regions around the world.
Today you can play three generations of amazing games on Xbox One. That means that Project xCloud has the technical capability to stream more than 3,500 games, without any changes or modifications required by a developer. In other words, developers will be able to dramatically scale their existing games across devices, with no additional development, no additional code base maintenance and no separate updates. When a developer updates the Xbox One version of their title, those updates will also apply to all versions available on Project xCloud without any additional work.
