Just wondering...
How much space have you lot used on your 360's HD? I've had mine since late April and i've only got 4GB free..
And here's a thought, if and when MS release an upgraded HD for the 360 how on earth will you be able to transfer all the stuff you have on your old HD to the new one?!? _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1

Well if you combine Xplorer 360 with Team Xecuter's HDD Connectivity Kit, it would be no problem to just back up the drive and then move everything over to the new one when it came. The Connectivity Kit is nice becuase it doesn't require you to open the drive at all to use it.

But surely MS would have to supply its own method of transferring data from one drive to another?! Otherwise the average Joe Bloggs would never buy it due to the fact they would loose everything on their old drive!
I'll have to look into this connectivity kit. _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1

I almost forgot, supposedly XSATA is coming out in the next month or so and it looks really good and does the same thing. It plugs into the hard drive section on the 360, and then you put your hard drive into it, and you can just use a USB cable from the back of it to your PC. It supposedly has Blue LEDS, I'll attach a link to a picture below.

I'll probably invest in that myself, so I don't have to remove the drive from the 360. I preorded the Connectivity Kit which has the DVD Drive and Hard Drive pieces so I could use the DVD Drive without having to use the power from the 360. Either option is plausible, just depends on personal preference.
On the part about Microsoft having their own way to do it, they might, but they will more than likely charge an arm and a leg for that service, just becuase they can. We will have to wait and see.

Damn that looks sweet as a nut... Bloody good idea too. But whats that MAX thing jacked into the back of the 360? Is that part of the XSATA system?
I guess MS could go down that street crash, but i'm willing to bet that they won't. Purely because they won't/can't and never have offered services like that outside of the U.S and I doubt they could afford ( yes i know that sounds crazy, ramblings of a madman? ) it either considering the 360 has been released all over the world.
Damn, can you imagine the shipping on a 360 unit from Australia to the U.S and back? . And it would be pretty damn pointless offering such a service only to U.S. citizens. But we shall see. _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1

I should have noted what that was, the MAX thing is Datel's wireless adaptor, it plugs into the ethernet port but seems to mount to the points for the Microsoft brand wireless adaptor.

Damn thats huge and ugly for a WiFi adapter compared to the MS one. What benefits does this one have over the MS one? Better range maybe? More manovable aerial?
Agreed forahobby.
I've just noticed a green LED on a USB cable there too. _________________________________________________________ JAy3k1
