I have a defective 360 mobo and am going to hopefully buy a used broken one that has the eject button and sync button broke. The eject button I can get around by either using the manual method or using a media remote to eject the drive. I am worried about the sync issue though, is there anyway to possibly sync a wireless controller if the sync button on the system is broken?

Any tips , help , or solution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Is the button broken or the lines on the board broken if it is maybe the solder has broken just heat up that ol iron and tip it to the connection...im quite sure if it is the button that you could get a replacement or alternative buttton for pennies and attach it...........If anyone has an alternative I cant think of one

Where would you suggest getting a replacement switch or button from? Online or local doesn't really matter?

Looks like w/ the reset button the traces leading to the button are burnt so thats probably a no go , but the sync button looks like the button itself is just melted so thats my hope is to fix that. As I can just use a media remote to eject the drive , but the sync button is more of an importance.
