So I have tried several different fans boasting silent performance at 12V (exactly the fan port output) in my brick, but they are all only silent for about ten minutes until they sound like small turbines from then on, like the flow is insufficient or the bearing is overdriven. At first I was trying blower fans like the stock, then I punched a hole through the roof, laid some mesh, and started trying case fans. I have removed a lot of internal structure to promote flow, but still I get just as much noise. Eventually I will have to try putting the PSU guts in a much larger case if these results persist. Besides converting the 12V output to 10V or 9V & testing the same fans again that's all I can think of, any ideas? _________________________________________________________ 320GB ST3320620A 7200RPM 16MB Cache
