Since you guys are mentioning Credit card issues, I will add mine,
I had a gold account a couple years ago, and desired to use my Pre Paid credit debit card to pay for the xbox live, So this was a spare card I put 30 bucks or so on for xbox live Monthly payment,
I stopped paying on the card because I started a new Gamer tag, so the card ran out, xbox live was disabled for that card as soon as the card was denied, but xbox kept charging me month to month for 4 months more even though I had no xbox live on that account anymore.
So now a couple years later, I find my old card and decide to use it to pay for my internet bill month to month. So I put some cash on it, set it up for my internet service provider and a few days later I check my card balance online and find a billing from xbox live for like 32 dollars!, Im thinking what the hell! so I go to xbox live online and delete the card number from my account. call them and bitch to them, they finely decide to refund me but say I have to put my card back on my xbox live account so the computer system can know what card number to refund the money to.
So I temporarily put the card back on my account and xbox live charges me another dollar for that!!!!
I finely got my refund weeks later and have taken my card back off of xbox live.
Do not ever use a credit or debit on xbox, it is worth the little trouble to actualy go to the store and get a prepaid card for points or live service.
Also too many people getting their accounts hacked as well.
