Updated thread, going to add a multitude of tutorials, to cover everything. I want anyone intrested to take a look at the tutorial on how its done, to ensure its not something they can do theirselfs, if you need to know my sources for parts shoot me a pm and I will gladly pass along my sources.
Also if you have a tutorial request please request it in my thread in the main post.
I want all members to remember I am doing this for 360-hq not for personal gain, this site is about helping the community and I will never charge anyone for anything for my own gain.
To give you an idea of what it takes to run this site financially its around 2-3k a year. Thats quite a bit of money for forahobby to pay outta pocket. Yes vip donations help a little bit, but not enough for my tastes. I use this site frequently and will give back anything I can, hench my participation. If you get a chance shoot ol hobbs a pm, and give him thanks for giving back to the community, I think he would love that.
The mods here really do put in a great deal of their free time to give you guys in my eyes the best 360 site around.
Ill put the prices for all services up wensday when I order all the parts. Hopefully I'll get some business to cover the parts cost, if not no biggie.
I do it for the love of modding, and the love of 360-hq.

Dude, that is the most difficult looking solder job that I've ever seen, lol
Thats why i love the idea of having guys in-house who can either perform the mod for people or write tutorials on how it can be done.. Now im back at work endless has been a godsend with his plethura of tutorials and knowledge.
I know for a fact endless knows his stuff, so it will be nice to see if other members would like to use his service. Im surprised no-one else has offered..
btw endless, Ill be checking out that soldiering job on my new elite controllers.. lmfao..
Thanks to all those guys who help give back a little to HQ as i have worked so hard to keep this baby online for all our friends..

Come now, my soldering skills are fantastic. I have only lost one smd led in the past 7 controllers, and none on rf controller boards.
Thanks for the kind words, and your voucher for my abilities. Its appreciated.

I agree. I've never really advertised my services on this site at all, i just offered it to friends really, but if anybody wants something done for them, i'd be happy to have the donation made to Hobbs's account instead of mine. Every little helps brother, and i'm right there with you in covering any cost that is needed. _________________________________________________________ Predtech

Joho, no the control board was dead so there was nothing to bring back. What setup are you refering to? I can do the dvd drive windows as well, with leds to light it up. Can do windows on the fan shroud as well.
Btw I'm going to have a tutorial for every service I offer, so if someone wants to do it theirselves they can. I don't want anyone feeling forced into paying for anything, if they are able to do it theirselves. Remember I'm giving the money made to the site, so pred if you do any work out of this thread I'd expect to hear about your dontation of the money.
Adding tutorials as I go, got a tutorial for adding a molex, and chaning out the circle of lights on your controller.
my setup at home...i updated my pics in my profile area. its on the members showcase thread.
