i just got a brand new 360 HDD for my 360 to play xbox original games but it gives a error saying it cant play this game and it give a version # (v1.0) what can i do to fix this problem _________________________________________________________ xbox AID 4.10 80GB WD

Are you connected to the internet so your xbox 360 can download the required backwards compatilbily files???
If you cant connect to the net then download a backwards compatiblity ISO directly from the www.xbox.com website.. You can burn this to a cdr and then update your xbox 360 manually yourself.
I always just let the xbox live service do it for me..
anyway, hope thats what your after.
Without the latest BC (backwards compatibility) files on your xbox hdd you wont be able to boot anything i doubt.
