Im considering doing my 1st mod soon but I cant seem to get any hard facts about what you can do with the Aladdin 2 and HDD, so I have a couple questions.
1. If I buy a HDD, do I have to format the HDD to work on the 360 as an actual Storage Device.
2. If I install an Aladdin 2 and a HDD. Can I backup my games to my computer, then plug the HDD into my computer, copy the game onto the HDD, then plug the HDD back into the 360 and then play the game without a disc?

It sound like your a bit mixed up.
As of now on the 360 you can only:
1. Hack the firmware on the dvd drive
2. Only use the standard M$ 20gig hard drive (No LARGER hd hacks are out)
3. There is currently no way to play a dvd game on the 360 without the disk
You are probably thinking of a modded original xbox which allows for bigger hard drives, playing from hd, etc.

well I know you can buy larger HDD's as backup stuff for your console.
So all an Aladdin can do is allow you to play backup games on your 360?

Yup yup.. Thats right..
Only backups..
I have a modchip and i wish i installed firmware.
