Dead Island 2 Out This Week On Xbox, PlayStation and Ep..

Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver dropped a 14-minute extended trailer for Dead Island 2 (@DeadIslandGame) , giving us our first look at the zombie slaying gameplay we can expect at the very beginning of the game in Bel Air, Los Angeles. Dead Island 2 arrives April 21st on Xbox One|Series X|S, PlayStation 4/5 and the Epic Store.

Armed with an array of weapons, each with their own unique, brutal fighting style and endless opportunities for upgrades, slayer Dani meets Standard zombies (Walkers, Shamblers, Runners), Variant (grenadier walkers), and Apex (hyper mutated zombies), all with unique powers and behaviors.

Hailing from the mosh pits of County Cork, Ireland, Dani’s unique slayer characteristic – tenacious yet balanced – is well-suited to an agile style of combat. Her mission? To get to the Halperin Hotel.

Players will also see how tapping into curveballs and combining a powerful set of Skill Cards, enhancing abilities and tailoring to style of play, assist Dani as she hacks and slashes her way through the first part of the game.

As an infected, but somehow immune slayer, finally witness what happens when the slayer activates their corrupted DNA and triggers Fury Mode.

Please note: for the purpose of this trailer, some weapons and skills have been unlocked that won’t be available until a later stage in the game.
