Alexa and Xbox Join Forces

With the newest Xbox One System Update, all players get new features and the Alexa Xbox Skill.

Team Xbox has spent the last few weeks developing new features for the Xbox System Update. The update is available today. This update includes a new way to interact with the Xbox Game Pass, additional countries for Xbox Skill for Alexa, and new Xbox Skills for Alexa voice commands.

Xbox Skill for Alexa - More Countries and New Voice Commands

Last fall, Microsoft enhanced voice control with 100 free spins starburst and Alexa's Xbox Skills, which allow you to navigate through voice commands on your Alexa-enabled devices and interact with Xbox One. Today, the team adds more supported countries and new Alexa voice commands.

Other countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Canada and Spain.

New Alexa Voice Commands for Xbox Game Pass and more: The July 2019 Xbox update introduces the ability to find out what's new about the Xbox Game Pass, what are the most popular games, what to leave the catalog, and more; just by asking Alexa. Tried to say, "Alexa, ask Xbox what's new in Game Pass?"

Finally, you can now start from the comfortable couch with the coupling of your controller with your Xbox. Just say "Alexa, please Xbox to pair my controller" to put your console in pairing mode. Complete list of voice commands

Xbox Game Pass - Play Later

Playing Later allows you to create a list of games from the Xbox Game Pass catalog that you can use in your spare time, making it even easier to find your next game. Manage your collection from your Xbox console or the Game Pass Mobile App and download your games when you're ready.
