NBA Live 07: 1000 People Online Achievement

The guys over at Xbox 360 Achievements have let me know that they are starting to really promote their upcoming event to achieve one of the more difficult achievements for NBA Live 07. The achievement requires that 1,000 people be online at a single time on the game. This wouldn't be such as difficult achievement if the game was actually good, but EA tends to slack on sports titles just throwing whatever they can out to the unsuspecting public. In order to help out with this event, you'll need to acquire a copy of the game, I personally would just rent it from a local shop, or at least try to buy a used copy so that you could return it shortly after being finished with the event.
The event will be held on Sunday, the 25th of February, 2007. at 8:00 PM (20:00) GMT. This translates to 3:00PM (15:00) Eastern USA, and for the Australian visitors it will be Monday, the 26th of February, 2007 at 1:00 AM. This seems to be a decent time period where most people will be able to get online and help out their goals. They are warning that if you don't get in on this event, you may never get this achievement as it's difficult to gather that large of a group of people together. We here at X360A are pushing to get 1000 people online at the same time to get the cunningly named "Online With 1,000 People" achievement, worth 100 GamerScore.
We are calling this "The Last Chance", for this will be the last time in history that an effort as large as this will be made to get this achievement. Be one of the few to have this achievement on your GamerCard for ages to come.
As of this writing you still have 11 days to get yourself a copy of NBA Live 07!
The event will be held on Sunday, February 25th, 2007 at 8:00 PM GMT.
For those not using GMT Time, it would be:
8:00 PM - GMT
9:00 PM - Central Europe
3:00 PM - Eastern USA
12:00 PM (Noon) - Pacific USA
We are asking everyone to please stay online as long as you can so as many people as possible can get the achievement. EA Sports has informed us that you have to be in the lobby and not playing a game, but you can just be online listening to the ESPN radio service.
