Personally i think its a joke that they are shutting down any Xbox 360 titles since it will make many achievement impossible to achieve.. Dont you feel sorry for all those guys who have 50pts from one of those games and will never be able to finish them.. I do.. lol.. I'm one of those guys..
Oh well, I guess i dont need to hunt my achievement points on Tiger Woods 06 anymore..
One of Konami's great titles of yesteryear returns for some fast button pressing action, get out your power pads.
This Wednesday, “Track and Field” races onto Xbox LIVE Arcade. The 1983 arcade hit from Konami has been given the Xbox LIVE Arcade treatment, offering players the same great gameplay as the original with authentic or enhanced graphics. And now, players can go head-to-head with up to four players on the same console or over Xbox LIVE.
The updated version for Xbox LIVE Arcade features the same button mashing game mechanic as the original, and now allows for up to four player multiplayer competition on one Xbox 360 or over Xbox LIVE. Clocking in at 400 Microsoft Points, “Track & Field” will be available to download on Xbox LIVE Arcade this Wednesday, August 8 beginning at 9:00 a.m. GMT (2:00 a.m. PDT).

Global leaderboards will compare your skills to see where you truly rank in the world. Compete with up to four other athletes on one Xbox® or over Xbox LIVE®. Originally released in 1983, Track & Field was an arcade button-smashing classic, and now you can play it on Xbox.
Len Wiseman the director of the latest die hard movie has been chosen to direct the movie for Gears of War,( still in talks but all looks good) and already has a release date of 2009. Len will also at the same time be directing the remake of Escape from New York. It seems the screen play has already been finished and is ready for filming.
How is it that GOW is good to go and has a great director while HALO the movie is still in Limbo? Who knows maybe this will be a boost to those holding Halo the movie back.
The GOW and Escape from New York films will be done for New Line Cinema.
In March of 2007, 2K and Irrational Games asked gamers what they wanted in the Collector's Edition of BioShock. Apparently, the Big Daddy figurine won out. The Collector's Edition is rumored to sell for close to $70.
"International" Collector’s Edition bonuses:
- Limited edition embossed metal case packaging (must be heavy)
- "Making Of BioShock" DVD
- Soundtrack CD
- Hand-finished resin Big Daddy figurine
It is not confirmed if the North American (US and Canadian) "Bioshock" Collector's Edition includes the exact same contents, but they should be the same.
The regular edition of an Xbox 360 game usually costs about $60. If the Collector's Edition is about $70 as rumored, then it will be an absolutely great bargain at only $10 more than the regular edition.
HMV is now taking pre-orders for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Metal Gear Solid. But the 360 version isn't due until five months later...
Here we go again. The latest 'MGS4-going-multi-platform' rumour is interesting for two reasons. Mega entertainment retailer HMV is taking pre-orders for the 360 version right now and the firm even dates both version of the game.
Metal Gear Solid 4 will apparently be available from April 18, 2008 on PlayStation 3 only according to the listing. Then, just over five months later, the Xbox 360 will be blessed with Solid Snake's presence on September 26 (one year exactly after the launch of Halo 3, trivia fans).
