Its quite possible that Sony's upcoming Next Gen console PS3 will ship with a deffective processor chip.
The chip has 8 synergistic processor elements for Multicore processing, however only 7 of them are ever used by the processor. Meaning if one of them is defective, Sony will still ship the chip as a full functioning processor. If the system has 6 or less working SPE's- sony will NOT ship the system.

' Remedy Entertainment has released new footage of their highly anticipated psychological action thriller, Alan Wake '

The video footage, which shows the game in action, is available below in both standard and WMV HD resolution.
Square enix has announced that the graphics shown at E3 for FFXI are not infact, the graphics that will run on the 360 for the game but these were "ps2 screens" which make sense, the system has much more to milk than those simple of graphics. Also for those who already dont know the system will be able to play online with its ps2 and PC broters, and will make full use of Xbox live.
