| Black Ops: Kino Der Toten Guide

NOTE: This guide will work for solo as well.
Kino is essentially a large circle, with many chokeholds allowing for a zombie mow-down.
SOLO: Buy a quick revive immediately.
What my buddies and I do, is we stay at the starting point covering each window until we get overrun or get hellhounds. We do not buy anything off the wall until we leave the room, more on this in the next steps. It is important to shoot the zombies with the pistol about 5 times and knife them when they come inside on the first few rounds. Round 2 will take 3 knife slashes, and round 4 will take about 4. Each round takes more knife slashes than before to kill.
If a teammate goes down and there are too many zombies to kill with grenades and a pistol, go top left door and through the next door to buy an MP40 to take care of the zombies in the first room (aim for the head). NOTE: if the zombies are controllable, continue to shoot/knife without buying a gun.
As soon as the thunder sounds in the round, open the top right door and the next door from there. Buy an MP40 off of the wall and sit in the speed cola corner to kill the dogs. This will make sure your back is covered and will keep you from being hit from multiple sides. Alternatively, you can run a circle around the table, but beware of teammates shooting at dogs, this will cause you to get hit and the teammates will not be able to protect, due to you standing in front of them.
After the dogs have been taken out, play another round in the speed cola room to build up more points. Try to create a crawler in this round so that everyone can build up points and find the box. If unsuccessful in creating a crawler, try one more round. As soon as there is a crawler, open the next door and the door to the theater. Turn on the power and link the teleporter. (If there is not a crawler, it will be harder to do this step) Buy a Jugger-Nog, Quick revive, and speed cola if points allow. (Trust me, it will save your behind) If there are points left over, open left doors from the lobby and get a double tap (only if there is a crawler that is active)
For SOLO (All rounds after the dogs): Start out at the stage each round and WALK a circle around the stage, avoiding zombies at all cost. If needed, step off the stage and then run up the next stairs onto the stage. After a horde has been gathered and is following you, make your way to the lobby (do not move too fast, just move at a steady pace or they will spawn in front of you) Once you get into the lobby, use the choke point to blast away some of the zombies running through in a straight line. Quickly reload and go up the left stairs of the lobby. Go through the right side door and into the small hallway. Kill off as many zombies as possible here then make your way down the stairs to the Speed cola/MP40 room. Take out some of the zombies coming down stairs(if ammo is more than 100, go left. If less than 100, go right and grab MP40 ammo and kill them coming down those stairs) If they are not thinned out by now, go to the stage and then kill them coming through the doorway. Keep doing this circle until there are a few left and try to create a crawler. Watch your back when you are moving, some will spawn in front of you.
For MULTIPLAYER, the rotation is the same, only the teammates watch the front and start out in the aisle killing off zombies that are coming from the seats and lobby. Everyone should do the rotation above and should stay moving slow. They kill the ones in front and you kill the ones in back. If anyone goes down, continue the rotation and get them when possible. If it is not possible, then let them die (UNLESS THEY HAVE A THUNDERGUN, Upgraded RPK, OR RAY GUN - if they have any of these, then they are in the back taking out the horde. If more than one person has any of these items, one is in front, one is in back)
Save the teleporter for when it is absolutely necessary. I usually try not to teleport until at least round 15 (DO NOT TELEPORT WITH HELLHOUNDS ACTIVE, they will stop spawning and spawn out in the lobby upon teleporting back. Just stay in the speed cola room when dogs are active.) Make sure you have a gun worth upgrading from the box, an RPK, Raygun, or Thundergun are the best to upgrade. If teleporting, make sure you leave a crawler and let it hit you once every 30 seconds so that it will stay alive long enough to re-link the teleporter. (NOTE: Hitting the turret during dogs or right before going into the teleporter will make everything much quicker, but it will not get you any points for its kills)
Traps are useful, but only if all 4 members of the team have already gone through it, meaning the person at the back of the line should hit the teleporter (Save this until round 20+ or it is a major waste of points.)
Continue doing this and you should be able to make it higher than round 20.
