1) Geohot had nothing to do with it, as he settled out of court and no longer exploiting Sony software....publicly. All court costs that have been donated went to an organization that backed him and all people in CFW and hacking personal use property, etc.
2) Here's another link to torrentfreak that has an update of how hackers by default used fake CC numbers to get access to all areas of the PSN.
3)Annonymous has claimed right away they were not behind the DDOS, which explains in a different method the fake CC numbers and how it went into the wild of the exploit it created and unintentional one by all attacking the private dev. servers for the exploit. Unexpected DDOS.
4)It was a good/bad thing about the master key being released. Good for turning the console into an excellent dev machine, bad because of the greedy exploiters who cut their own throat by use of the PSN. I hope the key for M$ stays underground, as things of this nature would send us back to the arcade days quick. If they could no longer create a profit by consoles, who would waste time and resources developing it.
I think this is a great opportunity for Xlink-kai to get funds rolling and get outstanding servers and provide a service that no other has in the past Just run a serperate server for Account info guys...please!

Just found this news piece about the recent PSN shutdown/attacks. I don't know about you guys but I'm glad that I don't own a PS3 and have never been part of the PSN.
Thats hilarious leave it to Sony to come up with a BS offer to make up for it. "gee for letting people steal all the info needed to bang you out for thousands of dollars were gonna give you 30 days free on our free service and maybe throw in a few 2 dollar DLC packs" What a joke I hope they get fried in court, someone needs to smack these douches up side the head and clue them into reality.

Over the years i have watched all my friends go from PS2 to xbox and then to PS3, guess what they are all saving up to buy now.
