Tassie hey. That's right down there. My parents think it's a great part of Australia. I personally have never been there but congrats on your progress so far.

Well good news, got my visa yesterday. Gotta go to Australia to get it validated by December this year, and make the move by January 2017. Gotta start saving now, has cost us over £3000 to get this far.
So get them snags on the Barbie, and to all my Pom buddies, may your ears turn into arseholes and shit on your shoulders _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

The visa is only valid for 5 years. If i do not move there before January 2017, then i'd have to apply all over again.
I'll move before 2017. If we sell the house and everything goes our way, at the best we would go before the end of the year.
Once we have lived there for 4 continuous years, we are classed at aussie citizens. If we moved back here after that, our two kids could go back whenever they wanted (not that we plan on coming back to the UK). _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

The UK is a good place to live, but like they say, the grass is always greener.
At least this way we have a choice of where to live, something not everyone has, and something we will be lucky to have. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.

26th October, Heathrow, 10pm, i'm on my way to Melbourne.
Shitting myself is an understatement, giving up all I have here and going half way round the world with a 5 year old in tow. I'd just better get a job quick when I get there. _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
