The guide button is your key to navigation now lol. Also I agree with Wes, PS3 has nothing to show for home and it is starting to lose its appeal. Also the avatars aren't too bad, but kinda did rip off wii. Overall I enjoy the NXE a lot and find it a lot easier to navigate everything.

unfortunately i dont get to enjoy the new NXE yet because i can freakin connect to this dang internet service. Don't know what im gonna do. Might just buy the wireless adaptor for the 360 but i dont wanna spend $100.00 and find out no, that's not gonna work, i gotta do something else. It would be a waste of money. I just want a straight forward answer from these 360 reps on what to do. I called the other night 3 times, and every agent had no idea what they were doing or what the situation was. _________________________________________________________ The Burninator...

i dont get it, my PC connects perfectly using my living rooms router connection (i think it's a gateway) yet whenever i try connecting my ethernet for the 360 to the back of my pc in my room it doesnt connect. It always says my DNS failed. Do I just needa buy a xboxlive wireless adapter and hook that into the back of my Xbox360? Know what? tonight, i'm gonna take some pictures for you guys that shows everything to access the situation better. _________________________________________________________ The Burninator...
You can't plug the cord into your computer and get on the internet. Then you wouldn't have internet to your computer at all.
Also, you need a crossover cable to connect the xbox to your computer. That may be your problem if your computer does have internet hooked up to it while your trying to connect your xbox. _________________________________________________________

but that's the thing, I've never ever had to use that (crossover cable). At my old spot, all I needed was a router, and i simply hooked an ethernet from my comp to the router, and the xb360 ethernet in the 2nd port of the router and I was fine. Now ever since I got this stupid "wireless" crap, nothing has worked. _________________________________________________________ The Burninator...
So let me get this straight. You have wireless internet and your computer is hooked up to the wireless connection. If that's the case then you do need a crossover cable to go online because a ethernet cord wont work on a computer LAN port. _________________________________________________________

A Crossover cable is required for direct connection between two (2) passive devices..
eg. XBOX 360 ---->>>> PC NETWORK CARD
Typical uses of a crossover cable are:
PC -------->> PC
Console -->> PC
Router ---->> Router
Switch ---->> Switch
Hub ------->> Hub
A normal Ethernet cable is used to connect your Xbox 360 to a HUB, ROUTER or SWITCH.
eg. XBOX 360 ---->>>> ROUTER
Typical uses of a ethernet cable are:
PC -------->> Router
Console -->> Router
etc
Most people connect their consoles or pc's directly to a router which shares the internet to all machines in their house/network.
If you are using a laptop to connect to the internet without using a router you would need a crossover.. If you are using a router/modem with ports in the back you will need NORMAL RJ45 Ethernet cables.
