The rattleing you hear is probably the sensor ball that tells the console if it is laying down or standing up you see a black little box by the heatsink thats were the senser ball is it is not to big either but sure makes it sound like there is something is wrong lmao. Just to be sure when u move it to stand up and or lay down you can hear it when you do that right.

ok i think it is the sensor ball moving around.futher news ,i put it back together so nothing could get futher destoryed and i've read up on the x clamp fix ,and i think i may have the RROD and that i should attempt the X-Clamp Fix ,i found a tutorial for it that i believe is good {http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair/ring_of_light_x-clamp_fix.htm}don't wanna have to do all this but i gotta do what i gotta do so yay! thanx for the all the help.

PS i may need help on the flip side but i'll talk to u guys about it .

hi mate
The error code 0020 is a tricky one, it could be your CPU, GPU or your ram chips so if the x-clamp fix don't work (change them both at the same time) then you will need to do the ram fix with 8 pennys.....

Hope you get it going mate...

if not we can try some other stuff

After watching the vid I'm 99% positive that it needs the x-clamp fix if it was the A/V error all four leds would light up.

Yeah but its Error 0020, which very little is known about it. I think the most common consensus is it deals with the cpu/gpu/ram like robbieboy said. But its worth an x-clamp fix try, for how cheap it is to do

yeah thats the other 1% comes in ive seen this error cleared with a x-clamp fix but ive only seen 2 consoles (hands on) with this specific error code

Thanx i appreciate u guys for helping me this far! i think im going to record this whole process off the video cam on my phone{without it i wouldn't of had the video i have now so yea!}that way we can record the trail and error of the 0020 code error.im going to the hardware store today to get the materials i need for this fix ,i know i can get it online but it can't be nothing more than some simple screws and washers that u get from the hardware store!,lemmie know if i need something special or not soon,just don't wanna forget nothing and have to run back {gas is way to costly}

i would just make sure you get the proper screws and washers and the correct amount of each im not sure of the screw size but i know that there m5 1mm thick washers both steel and nylon i belive the kit they have on llama.com lists all the sizes and amout of each you need. you will also needs some thermal compound and the products to clean the old stuff off

ok this is what i got on my list!

8x} 12mm Cheese head screws
16x} m5 Nylon Washers (1mm Thick)
32x} m5 Steel Washers (1mm Thick)

only prob is what size are these washers and screws!?!?! if anyone could clue me in id be thankful,my guess is maybe 1/4"? I have the thermal paste and all that stuff {matter of fact ive got some other stuff maybe u guys do or don't know of,its a silver thermal paste called 'liquidPro thermal paste",lemmie know whatca think!
