The hard drive is 20gb and not full at all. The 360 only does it everyonce in awhile. I will turn on the 360 with the controller and the 360 flash screen will show up like 15 seconds later and then runs fine. Just thought there might be some kinda fix for this?
This is purely a guess but maybe try turning it on and off a few times with the hard drive unplugged. If it doesn't have a slow start up with the hard drive off maybe try formatting the hard drive and see if that solves it. _________________________________________________________
Sounds like a good idea! Thanks much! I will let you know what happens.

whats the status on that slow start up speed rebel? did u format it ? just curious to know
Yes well it turns out that if you clear your cache while keeping one eye closed doesn't matter which one really right or left whatever your preference and badda boom badda bing no slow startup anymore. If that doesn't work you will definetly have to reformat your hard drive which should definetly work. Thanks to everyone who participated in this topic and Long live the Queen! _________________________________________________________
how do u reformat without losing u're date on the drive? if u don't mind explaining
Well you pretty much lose everything that is saved on the drive during a reformat. That is why you should transfer all your game saves to a memory card before reformatting. Any music or other data will be lost though. There is really no way around that. But 80% of the time clearing the cache should solve any slow load problems. _________________________________________________________
Alright kool.well i've tryed to reclearing my cache on my drive but still same load time.so maybe when i get a bigger drive i can format it before i start putting all my music and things on it.
Try booting your 360 up without the Hard Drive and see if it still does it. Let us know _________________________________________________________
i tryed that last time and it didn't do anything different! i think im going to have to reformat the drive ,so ill have to live with it till i get the new drive,i don't feel like renaming all those songs and names......omg thats a drag.anyway if u have any other sugguestions lemmie know and i'll try em.
