dude that sucks... i would go back and undo everything you've done electronically... take out the cathode and temp monitor, see if you can get the board back to stock. like fh suggested, go over the board with a magnifying glass and look for any solder drips or anything odd. im not positive how the temp monitor works, is that something that you take the heatsinks off to do? _________________________________________________________ .

Yeah i took out everything and yes the heatsinks have to come off to put the sensor between the heatsink and CPU. I'll buy a magnifying glass today at lunch and hopefully i can find something i missed before, but i can't imagine what. _________________________________________________________ Predtech

Yea it does suck. I lost a 1.4 to a ram upgrade while I had been doing some heavy drinking. Sounded like an awesome idea, and I had the ol' "liquid courage."

Right here's the scoop guys. I contacted Llamma and he told me to call him, which i did. He told me to ship it to him and he is going to take a look at it for me to see if he can fix it for me, and if he can do it without having to do anything like put in a new motherboard then he'll.........do it for free!!!!!! What a guy. This guy is a real help in these here parts. I highly recommend his site to you guys for parts and accessories. I personally bought things from him in the past and not were they only helpful but the shipping was lightning fast. An alround great guy to know and do business with.

Thats right.. Sure PorscheXboxster we can do that.
But how about we wait until we see if our friend Scott from llama.com can hook up predtech.. I told predtech to mention HQ and my name when he rang and llama.com mentioned he would look after it for free since he is a admin on HQ etc..
So there you go.. llama.com is a legend.. I personally link to all his tutorials and he links to HQ..
let us know if its unfixable.. Like llamma said you could probably replace with another motherboard since he may be getting some more soon.
