Yeah I called Microsoft and talked to the guy (he wasn't from India though) and he said he'd send me a special box for the 360 in 5-7 business days that would keep it from getting damaged. I don't think you need to have bought a warranty though because I thought I had one but I actually didn't and he said that was okay. Does it really take just a week because I really want my 360 back before Halo 3 comes out and I have talked to people where the repairs took much longer. _________________________________________________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

No Eta on the Falcon's yet. Probably a ways off, hopefully they build better motherboards, and take their damn time. Instead of rushing the product, there already launched first so I think they might redesign a few things.
I've done the X-Clamp replacment, and seen some very warped motherboards. Utter junk, and just sad M$ rushed such a great platform. But 3 year warranty is kind of a nice thing to have.

endless, you said you have done the x clamp replacement? i was wondering is that a pretty effective method? if its done wright? also paired with having a heat maching resolder the beads on the gpu and cpu?

Worked for me, takes a bit of adjustment to find the right amount of pressure.
In regards to reflowing the gpu/cpu thats not easy, and requires quite a bit of expertise on how.
