Anyone know how to rip a game fromm the 360 DVD drive to the pc?

I havent been toying with backups at all but i know for a fact a few other members here have been..

Pretech has writeen a hotswap tutorial which may help you...

check our tutorials area..

yeah m8
plenty of tuts out there,
but if you realy want to and dont
want to keep putting ur 360 dvd into modeB
then buy 1 of the following dvd rom drives
samsung SH-D162c or SH-D163a
you WILL need modded FW for both
drives but saves all the hassle of mode B ing
ur 360 dvd drive every time u want to
backup your games.

As BitePir8 says get one of the drive he mentioned and use Xbox Backup Creator and your all set. Easy as pie.

I wish there was a way to temper with the files on the disk... I would so edit the achievements and make it to where I instantlly get them.. haha

i just wanna back up games cause ive heard of the system scratching the discs.

Happened to my cuz and he took it back and said the guy working at EB Gmaes had heard about 360s doing that, but thats just probably people standing it up while the system is running a disc lol!

If you have your console standing vertical (which I do) its more prone to scratch a ring on your disk. At least thats what the guy at eb told me... and it shows because it's done it to most of my games.
