I recently modded my Xbox 360 Hitachi drive with Aladdin2's MOD360 chip. Since I installed it only DVD movies will work, no original or copied Xbox/Xbox 360 games will work.

If someone could help me it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Personally i would remove the chip to be sure that you have not harmed the dvdrom drive whilst installing the chip..

Most guys with a hitachi flash their dvdrom drives..
The only reason i didnt flash my samsung was because i couldnt find a decent tutorial.

Triple check over the documentation you have for installing the chip.
I know for a fact mine was alot easier to do then the hitachi because it had bugger all wires..

anyway, let us know where your up to

Newcastle, NSW mate.. Smile

You couldnt get it working???
I know there are not any instructions that come with it or anything either.
Im guessing but i would say the chip you installed was either faulty or it didnt have the hacked firmware flashed onto it..??

Who knows really??...

Where did you buy it from??

Good luck with the NME.. Did you get it working??

Hello,

I used to live in a small town called Vacy about an hour from Maitland and two from Newcaslte.

Im not sure yet whether the NME-360 chip is working. Ive burnt two games and both wont work. I will create a new topic explaining it.

Make sure you are certain that you are backing up properly.
Aslo DVD5 media will not work... It must be DUAL LAYER DVD9 MEDIA..

As long as the original games are booting then the modchip is install ok..
A good test i believe is to insert a XBOX 1 BACKUP and the emulator will pick it up as a game..

Just hang in there.. Everyone is firmware flashing more and not installing chips.. Thats why there is bugger all advice around.

cheers,
