Ok got the 360, but, no longer than id say 10 minutsed of playing it started to get very hot. I know this because i stuck my hand in the back where the fan blows and the air comin out is always pretty warm back there almost hot.

Anyway, i was wandering if it can handle that and if thats just how its supposed to be? Thanx

Yeah the 360 runs much hotter than the orignal xbox. Almost or more hot than your average gaming PC really. It should be fine as long as you aren't having any issues.

I have mine sitting horizontal with about 4 inches on both sides and above and an open back on my TV stand and I've played Oblivion for 12hrs straight with out any problems. If its got breathing room it should be fine. I wouldn't even call mine hot maybe 80 degF air coming out the back after that much playing time.

I run mine horizontal too and recommend it..
DOA666 scratched the hell out of a xbox 360 game when he bumped the xbox.. And he only bumped it..

My 360 runs extremely hot.. lol
But it still runs just fine when its 42 degrees celcius here in australia..heheh
I tested it when i first got it back in summer last year. And its going to be hot again this year too.

Ill keep you posted of any dramas.
