If you don't have a wireless adapter what are some other ways besides bridging your connection to get online, are there cheaper adapters that you can buy?
It's either buy the wireless connector or buy an ethernet cable. Not really any way around it as far as I know _________________________________________________________

What is it you are trying to connect ? How far away from the router? What budget your looking at? A little more info would help in determining what would be best. _________________________________________________________
The only way I could see not using the M$ sanctioned adapters would be on a JTAG with a hardware mod like the Netgear mod for the original XBOX. But Id have to say the chances of it actualy working/being possible are slim
