This seems to do it for me, I can play games like Garry's Mod on all High settings with around 140 Frames Per Second while the laptop is cool. When it gets hot I get around 50-70 frames per second. I've realized only use the setting when you are gaming, don't use it for idle. When I am playing a 1080p movie or video through the HDMI output, I usually set my Core Clock at 635MHz and my Memory Clock at 560 MHz. I used MSI AfterBurner to clock my Core and Memory. _________________________________________________________

Well my desktop is custom built so there is no model.
As for my GPU, it's an EVGA 1bg GTS 250. It was the superclocked version so I can't actually overclock it much more than about 10 mhz on either the core or the memory without it getting unstable.
core: 756 mhz
memory(I think, if I remember correctly): about 1100 mhz. _________________________________________________________
