This is where i bought mine a few months back (Consoleworx) and today they sent me this email. Not sure what the discount is.

people charge extortionate amounts for second hand xenon ones, and they have all probably had rrod. I paid about £280 for a new jasper.

No not the ps3 hack....Mods want to look in to the cost of the ps3.

Also live play is ment to be CRAP.
YNOS.....will put up a fight..they will patch and keep up with the HA_ckers.

It's not all about piracy. Installing games to the hard drive and not having to get up to change disks is great. Homebrew apps like FBANext are fantastic, a new XBMC would be great.
No-one with a Jtag goes on live anyway, so if you had a hacked PS3 and could play multiplayer, that's something the Jtag hasn't got (XLink is no where near a replacement for live).
With a possibly larger base of hacked PS3's than Jtag's, developers may be more enthusiastic about developing apps for the PS3?? _________________________________________________________ Opinions are like arse holes, everybody has one and your's stinks.
