i have just posted this in general discussions aswell sorry, but i am not even a noob yet as i do not own one




i'm just curious about if it is possible to plug an external hd via the usb connections? just trying to find out as much as i can before i shell out a lot of hard earned cash on a 360

You can plug one up but you can only use it to play music or view pictures off of.

How does the external HD have to be formatted, or does that matter sjohn?? I have an external HD that I wouldn't mind using for music and pictures as well, thanks.

Yeah plug and play I think it works with either NTFS or FAT32, not quite sure on the ntfs but I would think it would be fine using that. And yeah it's plug and play just plug it up go to media and music and choose the external device.


EDIT: FAT32 ONLY, sorry guys found out it's FAT32 only.
