My xbox is banned but not jtag possible and was wondering if it is possible to install games to the hard drive from an iso if the hard drive is connected to the pc?
And what does the xbox check on the disc before running the installed game from the hard drive? Is it possible to put the things it checks onto a cd and trick the dvd drive or is that a ridiculous idea?
Only reason i am saying this is because CD's are much cheaper that DVD-DL's and i want something interesting to do.
I've had disks scratched and so have people i know (as i'm sure have people on here) so i'd rather keep the game disks i buy away from the 360 thats why i want to know about the iso installation.

Ive got the same problem.. But from what i was reading here in our forums if you update your console (using an unbanned hdd) you can then install games..
Here is a link to a topic where everyone was discussing it.. Maybe you could bump it..
